The builders at the new Master Builders Queensland Jimboomba Woods Acreage Display Village, are celebrating the upcoming opening – but the buyers are getting the presents!

Five of Queensland’s best builders are offering buyers, for a limited time only, five new home and acreage packages, all tailor designed to make the most of the unique land available at the dress circle estate of Jimboomba Woods.

“These packages have been prepared to take advantage of the gently undulating sprawling home sites we have available at Jimboomba Woods,” said QM Properties’ General Sales Manager Damien Ross.

“The home designs are perfectly integrated to take advantage of the unique aspects of acreage living, with all the modern features such as open plan living areas, NBN internet, full pressure town water and so much more.”

Included in the offer are five premium lots, all in walking distance to the display village allowing buyers to see, feel and touch where their new home could be. They are in close distance to the expansive parklands at the heart of the estate, equipped with BBQ facilities, state of the art playground, walking and cycling tracks.

Metricon, Oracle, Mish Developments, GJ Gardner and Stroud have carefully selected homestead designs that work best with the home sites, taking into account the northern aspects, driveway positions, services on the lots – taking the hard work away from buyers.

The homes are all one storey, sprawling homestead style designs, featuring open plan living areas, all with a minimum of four bedrooms, two bathrooms, double garages and alfresco dining zones. All homes are on a minimum of 4000sqm home sites, all with NBN broadband and full pressure town water.

Home and land packages are a popular choice for buyers when looking to build a new home. The hard work is taken out of the equation, with the builder and developer working together to find the most perfectly suited home for the land.

“We have identified 6 key advantages of home and land packages,” said Damien. “With the developer and builder working together it really takes the stress out of buying for our clients and ensures that they get the best home for the block.’’

  1. Soil and Contour Tests

Soil and contour tests (2 separate tests) that can be costly and need to be completed by the builder. This is based largely on the soil and contour tests but ramp costs up if the land needs trees removed, retaining walls or is very steep.  Buyers have time to complete all site surveys and soil tests so they get an accurate figure of how much their home will cost.

  1. Satisfaction Guarantee

Buyers don’t settle on the land until they are 100% satisfied with the building contract and have signed it.

  1. Land Registration
If the land is within a new estate such as Jimboomba Woods and not registered, then there may be extra costs. (Eg. Connecting electricity, plumbing and sewerage). QM Properties also allow buyers the extra time for settlement of the land which saves buyers money. Usually 90 days is allowed as opposed to the normal 30-day contract.
  1. Interest Repayments

Because the building contract is completed prior to settlement the builder can start the project straight after settlement which saves the buyer money and gets the home finished more quickly. So it saves rent or mortgage payments elsewhere.

  1. Bank Finance

Banks prefer to finance a project home package rather than just a block of land due to security.

  1. QM Properties 35 Year Reputation
