Located just 23 kilometres from Surfers Paradise and 56 kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD, Pacific Cove is in the epicentre of one of the fastest growing population areas in Australia.
“We have experience in this region having developed Coomera Retreat, which is now almost sold out,” said QM Properties Sales Manager Damien Ross.
The Pacific Cove development will comprise of 500 homes, including some medium density duplexes and town houses. Homesites will range from land size ranges from 400, 600 and 800 square metres all with an affordable price point that will allow buyers to spend that little bit extra to build their dream home.
“There is great confidence in the area due to a rare combination of geography, population growth and infrastructure,” said Damien. “The area also has access to a good lifestyle environment with national parks, water, boating, Stradbroke Island and the beach all in close proximity.”
The Gold Coast is the most populous non capital city in Australia, growing by 18,000 people each year. As far back as 2006 Michael Matusik predicted this expansion, as even then the region had experienced a 145% growth within a five year period.
The city has spread to the NSW border in the south, the mountains inland and the oceans to the east.
“Obviously there is only one place left to develop and that is to the north of the land locked city,” said Damien.
Known as the North Shore of the Gold Coast the northern suburbs of the region are blessed with natural and man-made recreational options that appeal to the market.
The area is considered to be a boating paradise adjacent to Moreton Bay and its 365 sub-tropical islands accessed by multiple boat ramps and marinas.
To the south, the Broadwater, Nerang River and Broadwater Parklands are the playgrounds of the region. Southport Marina and Marina Mirage offer world-class facilities for all size and style of water crafts from canoes to ocean going yachts.
“Pacific Cove is easily accessible to the northern beaches as well as the protected areas of Moreton Bay,” said Damien.
Buyers seeking a semi-retired lifestyle where they can enjoy their boats, jet skis, and, 4WDing will also be drawn to the region.
Shopping centres are another recreational facility that are literally at Pacific Cove’s doorstep, including popular outlets at Harbour Town and the upcoming Coomera Town Centre by Westfield developed, which is set to be the biggest centre in Australia.
For the young or young at heart the Gold Coast theme parks of Movie World, Sea World, Wet n Wild, and Dream World continue to draw visitors and increasingly a large group of employees needing accommodation.
A range of private and public schools are also within close proximity to Pacific Cove.
“We anticipate Pacific Cove will be popular with families, with schools, transport and activity hubs close by,” said Damien.
“We expect to attract Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne residents who see good value in the area.”
