QM Properties have announced the opening of their Home and Land Centre at Sandstone Lakes, on Redondo Drive, Ningi.
“There has been a lot of interest in Sandstone Lakes with buyers very keen on land that is so close to the beach,” said QM Properties Sales Manager Damien Ross. “A number of homesites were snapped up within weeks of the land release.”
“As construction of the Sandstone Point Hotel is well underway, buyers can see what a great lifestyle the area offers,” he said.
The hotel, built by the owners of the iconic Eaton’s Hill Hotel, sits on the waterfront near the Bribie Island Bridge, right on the pristine Pumicestone Passage.
Stage one of the new $50 million hotel development features indoor and outdoor dining, an entertainment space for artists, bands, and festivals, as well as function spaces.
The owners are renowned for attracting an array of headline acts at their hotels including Prince, Jack Johnson, Good Charlotte, and Marilyn Manson who often perform sideshows after performing at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
The Hotel will feature a 25 metre high lighthouse offering guests panoramic views of the Glasshouse Mountains and Moreton Bay Islands. Stage two will include a family style resort with hotel rooms and cabins.
“A museum that covers the interesting local history of Bribie Island and Sandstone Point will also be included,” said Damien.
Sandstone Lakes Estate is situated minutes from the Pumicestone Passage, just south of the Bribie Island Bridge, on the mainland side of the waterway.
The master planned community is surrounded by 46 hectares of Melaleuca forest, and faces the ‘banks’, a popular wading and fishing spot. Sandstone Lakes is fringed by Pebble Beach and Godwin Beach and looks across the passage to Bongaree.
“Sandstone Lakes offers a lifestyle revolving around the nearby water,” said QM Properties Sales Manager Damien Ross. “We are delighted to have another beachside community in our collection, along with Pacific Harbour and Doonella Noosa.
Sandstone Lakes is linked by bikeways and walkways to sandy beaches, and to the bridge which links the development to the ocean beaches at Woorim.
The development also boasts its own expansive lake, surrounded by landscaped parklands, playgrounds, bikeways, and community space.
Sandstone Lakes has attracted respected builders, who are busy creating a community of high quality modern homes. Many homes face the lake, Ningi Creek or the two natural billabongs in the development.
Family homes at the development are stylish, open plan beach inspired homes similar to what has become known as the ‘Pacific Harbour’ style.
The design features central courtyards, alfresco dining, and living areas that make the most of the subtropical leisure lifestyle.
Sandstone Lakes is a magnet for families who want a laid back lifestyle while also looking for the education, retail, and transport infrastructure they require in nearby Caboolture.
“There is also a growing trend in the Moreton area for micro businesses and people working from home, and the new stages of Sandstone Lakes will benefit from the NBN rollout,” said Damien.
Sandstone lakes offers families an idyllic leisure lifestyle after work and on weekends. Fishing, sailing, swimming, kayaking, and windsurfing are all popular in the safe waters of the Passage, as well as 4WDing and surfing at Woorim.
“Sandstone Lakes will complement our range of options for buyers seeking a work/lifestyle balance,” said Damien.
