With more buyers wanting communities that offer high owner occupancy rates, Pacific Cove offers just that.


More than 85 per cent of residents in Pimpama’s Pacific Cove are proud home owners, with developer QM saying the community has one of the highest owner occupancy rates in the suburb.

QM Development General Sales Manager Damien Ross says Pacific Cove is being developed with owner occupiers in mind, and a limit on the number of investment properties sold.

“Australian Bureau of Statistics data shows 28 per cent of Pimpama residents own their home, so to have about 85 per cent of Pacific Cove represented by owner occupiers is well above the average,” he said.

“The feedback we have had from buyers is that they like living in a community with other people who have put down roots and made a longer term commitment to calling Pacific Cove home.”

First home buyer Georgia Martin is among those who chose Pacific Cove for its ‘homely feel’ as well as its affordability and central location.

“I have been working with builder Burbank Homes at Pacific Cove, so I have had a first hand insight in to how the community is being developed. After helping dozens of people build a home, I decided to take my own advice and purchase a property here,” she said.


“From a builder perspective, I  really like the fact the developer has  strong covenants in place to ensure all homes are completed to a certain quality, which will help protect property values.

“Pimpama is a growth suburb so there’s also the benefit of having new infrastructure like Westfield Coomera nearby, along with easy access to new schools and parks.

“As a first home buyer, I couldn’t find anywhere else in the Coomera-Pimpama area that matched the affordability of Pacific Cove. I found that I could pay as much as $50,000 more for a similar sized house and land in other estates.

“I had the advantage of getting to know a few of my neighbours before I built my home, but I can honestly say everyone is really welcoming and friendly. Because it’s a relatively small community, it’s also a nice and quiet place to live.”

Pacific Cove boasts 550 homesites, with lots now selling priced from $235,000.
