Cedar Forest

Cedar Forest is a wooded, acreage estate situated in Jimboomba’s southern suburb of Cedar Vale.

Cedar Forest offers a peaceful lifestyle in country surrounds, ideal for families with children or those simply seeking privacy, peace and quiet.

This beautifully wooded estate has a long history. The community initially launched as ‘The Groves’, when it was first purchased by QM Properties in 1990. In 2003, it was relaunched and renamed ‘Cedar Forest’.

Ted Corbould, one of Queensland’s most interesting entrepeneurs, pastoralist and philanthropist, originally owned the land. Ted was also an early conservationist, donating over 20 properties to the Queensland Government for preservation.

Cedar Forest met the big demand for lightly wooded, small acreage estates within commuting distance of Brisbane. Buyers found a conveniently located, peaceful acreage community and the perfect escape from the city bustle.

The elevated and gently undulating blocks throughout the estate are lightly forest with tall eucalypt trees. The area is abundant with local bird life as well as other native wildlife including kangaroos.

Picturesque forests surround the community, creating the perfect environment for bushwalking and hiking. Unlike many rural developments, Cedar Forest is only minutes from shops, schools and the town centre.
