  • Construction Starts on Anthology New Farm Following $19M in Sales

Our Luxury Riverside Development, Anthology New Farm is Selling Fast!

Construction has this month commenced at QM Properties’ luxury riverside project, Anthology New Farm, following over $19 million in sales which includes the sale of all three penthouses, with the highest priced selling for $1.88M.

QM Properties has appointed McNab Constructions to build the Rothelowman designed building, which is located on tree-lined Moray Street, and is expected to be complete by late 2020.

QM Properties Development Manager Glenn Rix said Anthology, which is six residential levels plus extensive roof top facilities, comprises just 26 residences and is the first medium rise project to commence construction in New Farm this year.

“Anthology has appealed to owner occupiers looking to live in a boutique building in one of the most sought-after suburbs in Brisbane.  To achieve over 60% pre-sales before commencing construction is an excellent result and demonstrates the strength of the inner city owner occupier market within Brisbane.” Mr Rix said.

Mr Rix said QM has partnered with McNab Constructions because the company has an enviable reputation for delivery of high quality product across multiple market segments.

“Our buyers told us they were looking for a project that was being delivered by both a developer and builder with strong track records for quality, and being able to satisfy that requirement is one of the reasons Anthology has sold so well off-the-plan,” he said.

“Our buyers had such confidence in our project that Anthology’s three penthouses were among the first to sell.  In addition, all courtyard apartments, featuring three bedrooms and expansive garden terraces, as well as all the one bedroom product have now also sold.

“This rush towards the penthouse and courtyard apartments is further evidence of the owner occupier market seeking to downsize to quality apartments offering ample outdoor living areas and resident amenities.

“We have a good mix of three bedroom apartments remaining from $1.125 million, and enquiry remains strong.”

Remaining residences for sale boast stunning river views with generous sized balconies, three spacious bedrooms and a gourmet kitchen.

Mr Rix said Anthology has been recognised as one of the best performing project of its kind in Brisbane on realestate.com.au, which he said clearly demonstrates that the project has struck a chord with home buyers.

“Realestate.com.au have told us that Anthology is one of the top performing mid-rise projects in Brisbane and has received more enquiries, saves and shares than any other comparable listing,” he said

“This has reinforced to us that there is a strong appetite for the right project in the right location, and that Anthology ticks those boxes for buyers.

“People aren’t just searching online – we have also had plenty of visits to our custom built sales centre, which showcases Anthology’s fittings and finishes as well as a scale model of the building.”
